Prinect image control
Prinect image control
Objective quality control and colour management using spectral colour measurement
Prinect image control is an external colour measurement system which monitors and controls printing quality. This device guarantees the very highest print quality and consistency of colour. It is the only system, worldwide, which is capable of measuring the entire printed image spectrophotometrically.
Key Features
- All presses are linked into one image control unit, giving total consistency.
- Each sheet up to B1 can be measured in its entirety by breaking it down into 160,000 measuring points. This enables the print quality to be assessed over the entire sheet.
- The quality of the production run can be documented by printing out or storing the relevant job protocols.
- Repeat jobs can be saved in the job database.
Benefits to clients
- Controlled and consistent management of colour that is measurable and monitored to working standards. The colour standard we print to is ISO 12647-2 which is the international standard for litho colour printing.
